The 2011 WATERLAT Meeting supported the Blue October Campaign against corporate water control.

The Meeting was an activity of the WATERLAT Network co-organized by the School of Geography, Politics and Sociology, Newcastle University and the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) Mexico.
